Night-time Snowshoe Hike

A wonderful snowshoe tour across wide clearings and enchanting woodland. We’ll walk with snowshoes through sparse forests near the Andraz Castle. For fitter participants, there’s the option to climb up to Passo Sief and Monte Sief — a true panoramic balcony overlooking the Dolomites. An experience suitable for families and beginners, too!

Snowshoeing around Andraz Castle means experiencing the magic of winter in the Dolomites. With our snowshoes, we’ll cross gentle alpine meadows, dense spruce forests, and fairy-tale larch woods. Every now and then, an open clearing dotted with small mountain huts adds an even more atmospheric touch to our outing.
The Andraz Castle snowshoe hike is an easy route, ideal for first-time snowshoers but beautiful enough to enchant even the most experienced. The terrain is never too steep, allowing for multiple variations — shorter or longer — to enjoy this stunning winter outing in complete tranquillity.
Approximate duration: 3 hours.
Meeting point: 4:30 PM at Malga Castello, on the road linking Andraz Castle to the Passo Falzarego road (SR48 delle Dolomiti).
