Advanced Multipitch Course

Two days dedicated to refining the techniques required for climbing long multi-pitch routes. You will learn how to climb multipitch routes where existing fixed protection must be supplemented with removable protection, how to manage rope-team movement along alpine ridges, and how to safely perform abseil descents in exposed terrain.

This course is designed for climbers who already have experience on multipitch routes and wish to expand their skills and improve their technique.

The main goal of the course is to develop the knowledge and confidence needed to move safely and efficiently on long alpine routes. You will learn how to correctly equalise and connect anchors, manage a sequence of abseil descents quickly and effectively, and handle rope-team progression techniques.
